Dr. Abbas is a highly qualified and experienced radiologist with a comprehensive background in diagnostic imaging. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Sulaymaniyah University in 2006. Following graduation, he gained valuable clinical experience as a medical doctor, completing a rotating internship and practicing as a General Practitioner (GP) until 2010. He pursued specialized training in radiology, undertaking a permanent residency at Sulaymaniyah Teaching Hospital (X-ray & Medical Diagnostic Center) until 2012. He further expanded his expertise as a General Radiologist at Raparin Directorate of Health until 2015. He then completed a residency in radiology at Rizgary Teaching Hospital in Erbil until 2021.
Dr. Abbas achieved certification from the Arab Board of Radiology and Medical Imaging in 2021. He also obtained the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR) in 2021. his expertise covers all aspects of diagnostic Radiology with particular interest in obstetric and abdominal imaging. Dr. Abbas is committed to providing personalized attention to each patient, ensuring they understand their results and treatment options.

Most ultrasound examinations take between 20-45 minutes, depending on the type of scan. Complex studies or those requiring additional measurements may take longer.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork.
